West Singhbhum Naxalites have become very active once again. CPI Maoist Naxalites shot dead a person in Goilkera police station area of the district. After getting the information of the incident, the Goilkera police is making arrangements to bring the dead body.
According to the information received in connection with the incident, the deceased was a resident of Panta village of Goilkera police station area. This area comes under extreme Naxalite affected areas. It is being told that on Thursday night the Naxalites shot and killed all four Purti, due to which he died on the spot. The police got information about the incident on Friday morning. After which the Goilkera police has made arrangements to bring the dead body.
It is being told that the CPI used to collect levies for the Maoist Naxalites. He has also gone to jail in this case. After being released from jail, he again used to collect levy for the Naxalites. It is being speculated that he was killed by Naxalites due to transaction in recovery of levy. However, the police is probing the matter.
