Kanpur : The date for the inauguration of the new terminal of Kanpur Airport in UP has been fixed. On May 26, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will come to the city to inaugurate. Inaugurated in the presence of the Chief Minister
Jyotiraditya Scindia further wrote in the tweet that Kanpur airport will be inaugurated on May 26 in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Scindia said that Kanpur airport will prove to be the engine of India’s development. If the basic structure of Kanpur is strong then it will again get its industrial form. UP will get a new flight. Along with this, Scindia has also posted pictures of the airport.
There will be daily traffic of three flights
It goes on to say that this newly constructed terminal building of 6243 square meters has eight check-in counters, three conveyor belts and special facilities for the differently-abled. At one time, 300 passengers can sit in the boarding hall. By the way, at present three flights come and go daily from Chakeri airport. Indigo has Bangalore and Mumbai and Spice Jet has the only flight to Delhi. At the same time, CM Yogi, who visited Kanpur on May 9 during the civic elections, had also announced in the meeting that he would come to present the new terminal this month.
