In this, the green signal was given to start the online enrollment process from May 22 for the undergraduate regular course first semester. According to the cutoff list in three phases, the nomination process will be completed by July 2. After this, the classes for the new session will start from July 4. After the three-stage nomination process, a merit cum spot round process will be organized for the remaining seats for nomination. Four year graduate course will be completed in 160 credits

The four year undergraduate course will be completed in 160 credits in eight semesters. There will be 20-20 credits in every semester. Teacher and student participation of at least 10 hours in a credit related subject is mandatory. There are 80 credits in major course, 32 in minor, nine in multidisciplinary, eight in ability enhancement, nine in skill enhancement, six in value added, four in internship and 12 credits for research project. Skill enhancement courses can also be done through self, mock etc. 75% attendance is mandatory to appear in each semester’s examination.

Admission is to be done on one lakh 20 thousand seats

Patliputra University will enroll about one lakh 20 thousand seats in the academic session 2023-27. In this, about one lakh 20 thousand seats are fixed in traditional subjects in 69 colleges of Patna and Nalanda districts. Dean of Student Welfare, Prof AK Nag told that the admission process in 26 constituent colleges and 43 affiliated private colleges of Patna and Nalanda districts will start from May 22 on behalf of the university.
