The government is going to give big benefits to about five lakh employees of Gujarat very soon. The state government is preparing to declare dearness allowance. The process for this is also in the final stage. An announcement of eight percent dearness allowance can be made by the government. Like last year, this time also the government is likely to give dearness allowance in three installments. It can be officially announced soon.
Demand to give 42 percent dearness allowance
According to sources in the Gujarat State Employees Union, 34 per cent dearness allowance is given to state employees, in which an increase of four per cent has been made. From January 2023, this 38 per cent has demanded an increase of 4 per cent to 42 per cent dearness allowance from now. Right now the state employees have to wait for 10-10 months for the allowance given by the central government. In such a situation, a sense of displeasure and dissatisfaction is being seen among the employees of the state. The employees demand that the state government declare dearness allowance on the lines of the central government as soon as possible.
