In this regard, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shukdev Bhoi said: The grant amount of affiliated colleges has come to the University in the month of April. But now grants will not be released to these colleges. It will be released in the first week of June. He also said that the entire grant will be given only to that college where all the teachers take regular classes. Colleges in which teachers do not take regular classes, they will not be given full grant. Along with this, a report will also be sent to the state government against those colleges.

At present monitoring is being done in all affiliated degree colleges on the lines of constituent colleges. He himself is doing this monitoring. He is taking information about the presence of teachers by video call to the principal of every college every day. He told that now he will monitor it regularly.

no salary for six months

On the other hand, due to lack of grant, teachers and non-teaching staff in many affiliated degree colleges have not received salary for six months. In these colleges, teachers and non-teaching staff are given salary for the whole year together only after getting the government grant. Due to non-receipt of grant, the condition of non-teaching staff working in these colleges has become very pathetic. Many are not even able to get their treatment done.

All three colleges under construction will be ready soon

Under BBMKU, 2352 students can sit together and study in new government colleges at Jamdoba and Tundi in Dhanbad and Gomiya in Bokaro. 784 benches and desks with a capacity of three students have been installed in each college. The furnishing work of the colleges has also been completed. However, in all the three colleges, only the building of Tundi Degree College has been completed so far. At the same time, 98 percent construction of RSP-2 located at Jamdoba in Jharia and 95 percent construction of Gomia Degree has been completed. The remaining work will be completed by June.

The university will take over all the three degree colleges only after getting the electricity connection. The construction agency has been asked by the university to install the transformer as soon as possible. University will apply for electricity connection only after the transformer is installed. Common University Entrance Test (CUET) examinations for UG admission in BBMKU are starting from June 5. For this, the list of examination centers has been issued by the National Testing Agency. With this the controversy has started. A large number of students of Dhanbad have been given examination centers in cities like Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur and Kolkata, 300 to 400 km away. AJSU student union protested

AJSU Students’ Union burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister at Randhir Verma Chowk on Wednesday in protest against giving the center of Dhanbad students hundreds of kilometers away for CUET. Vishal Mahato, Vikas Kumar, Dinesh Das, Vivek Mahato, Vicky Kumar, Sachin Das were the university president of the union on the occasion.
