Teacher Recruitment Test: BPSC has no role in deciding the eligibility criteria, know what the chairman said on the cut-off

Patna. BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad has said that BPSC has no role in deciding the eligibility criteria or cut off for teacher appointment. We will only follow the instructions of the government and the rules made in this regard. He tweeted in this regard and wrote that I think this exam is not the end, but the beginning. There will be no change in the eligibility criteria or cut off for many more upcoming recruitment processes.

BPSC got a new task

Earlier, Atul Prasad while talking to the journalists had said that the BPSC has got a new task by the government to send recommendations for the appointment of teachers. Its syllabus and structure has been released on the website. There are 79943 posts for primary school, 32916 posts for secondary, 57602 posts for higher secondary. Total post is 170461. Further, the BPSC chairman said that in two to three days an advertisement will be taken out for the appointment to these posts.

BPSC has no role in deciding eligibility criteria or cut off date in TRE. We will only go by the Govt’s instructions & the rule in this regard. But I guess this exam is not the end, rather it’s the beginning. Many more recruitment cycles will follow.

Exam can be held till August

Atul Prasad said that for primary school, the candidate should be inter pass, CTET and Diploma or B.Ed. Whereas, for secondary school, there should be graduation, STET and B.Ed. For Higher Secondary, Post Graduate, STET and B.Ed should be passed. The exam will be taken by August and the result will also be declared by the end of this year. At the same time, he further said that negative marking has also been kept in the exam. The BPSC chairman said that there is no need to panic. Candidates will be given enough time to prepare. If someone is studying properly even a little, then there will be no problem.

There will also be an intelligence test

The chairman of BPSC said that there will be 100 number questions. Number 25 will be of English and number 75 will be Hindi, Urdu or Bangla. Must get 30 marks to pass. Whereas, the main paper will be of 150 marks. Merit list will be prepared separately. The questions of 100 marks in the main paper will be normal. The remaining 50 numbers will be of intelligence test, these 50 numbers will be away from subject knowledge.

Single application for all posts

The BPSC chairman said that applications for all the posts will be taken together. If there is an eligible candidate, he can apply for all the three posts simultaneously. Can appear in all the three exams on different dates. The language paper is of qualifying nature. There will be two sections in language. English which is common and second Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, all these exams will be MCQ based.
