Bhopal, May 17 (Hindustan Times). The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided more than 100 locations in six states, including Madhya Pradesh, in the early hours of Wednesday with the help of local police. The agency has taken this action in terrorism, narcotics, smuggling, gangster cases.
The NIA has also raided Bhind and Barwani in Madhya Pradesh. The NIA team has arrested some people at Bajranggarh under Hingori police station area in Bhind. Everyone is being questioned.
It is noteworthy that apart from Madhya Pradesh, the agency has raided Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Earlier on Tuesday, the NIA team from West Bengal had searched the house of Abdul Rakib, arrested on charges of terrorist activities in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.
