Patna. The political tussle over the mutton party organized by JDU national president Lalan Singh in Munger has now reached the court. JDU has now sent a legal notice to BJP state president Samrat Chaudhary. It has been said in this that Samrat Chaudhary has made a wrong allegation regarding this mutton party, present his evidence within 15 days, otherwise legal action will be taken against him.
On behalf of JDU’s Munger District President Nachiketa Mandal, this notice has been sent to BJP’s state president Samrat Chaudhary. It has been said in the notice that a felicitation ceremony for the workers of the Grand Alliance was organized in Munger, in which the party’s national president Lalan Singh was also present. There was arrangement for both non-veg and veg food. It has been said in the legal notice that BJP’s state president Samrat Chaudhary gave a statement regarding this program that JDU is trying to get votes by making a party of mutton and liquor. No other party takes votes by feeding mutton and drinking alcohol.
JDU’s legal notice states that liquor ban is applicable in Bihar. Under the prohibition law, there is a provision that if anyone comes to know that alcohol is being consumed somewhere, then he has to inform the police or the officials of the concerned department. Samrat Chaudhary did not give any such information to the government system that liquor is being served in the mutton party of Munger. It has been said in the legal notice that Samrat Chaudhary has made a false allegation. Therefore, within 15 days, he should present proof that liquor was served at Lalan Singh’s mutton party. If they do not do so, legal action will be taken against them.
JDU’s legal notice states that in his statement, Samrat Chaudhary has accused Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of organizing such a party, whereas this party was organized by JDU’s National President Lalan Singh. Lalan Singh has been giving such parties in the past as well and when BJP was with JDU, BJP leaders also participated in it. Even after the Tarapur by-election, such a party was held, and Samrat Chowdhary himself also participated in it. JDU state president Umesh Kushwaha had said that legal action will be taken against him. Today JDU sent him a legal notice.
