Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the inauguration program of Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha Gyan Yagya, which runs for 7 days, at Mahant Digvijay Nath Smriti Bhavan located in the Gorakhnath temple complex on Monday evening. Welcoming Katha Vyas and saints, he expressed his views. Earlier, a grand procession was taken out from the sanctum sanctorum of Guru Gorakhnath temple on the occasion of Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha launch. Chief Minister and Goraksha Peethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath performed the ritual of worshiping Shrinathji Akhand Jyoti and Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Granth by law in the sanctum sanctorum.

Conch shell, bell, gong, trumpet, hawthorn musical instruments echo

The procession reached Mahant Digvijay Nath Smriti Bhawan, the place of the story, amidst the echo of musical instruments like conch, bell, gong, trumpet, hawthorn etc. and band instruments. Where Akhand Jyoti and Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Granth were consecrated in front of Vyas Peeth amidst Vedic chanting. Chief Minister, saints and hosts worshiped Vyas Peeth and felicitated Katha Vyas. During this, in his address from the stage, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Goraksh Peethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath said that the story of Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran has been animating Sanatan culture for 5000 years by becoming the story of salvation and liberation of human beings.

The Chief Minister said that according to the feeling in which this story is heard, the listener gets the juice. It is also a story that makes us feel the glorious past. It is a rare moment to have the privilege of listening to the story of Shrimad Bhagwat. He said that this Katha, which will continue till May 21, is being organized on the occasion of consecration of deities in the nine new temples built in the temple premises. Before starting the Katha of the first day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath after worshiping the Vyaspeeth It is said that Ved Puran Upanishad covers our thousands of years of history.
