In view of the increasing number of accidents in the city, Mayor Hemali Boghavala has started a series of visits. Apart from BRTS and city buses, efforts are being made to prevent accidents caused by heavy vehicles in the city. Accidents are happening continuously in different areas of the city, due to which many people have lost their lives.

cowThe width of Rav Path is only 30 meters instead of 45 meters

The Mayor went to Adajan-Pal area and visited Gauravpath. There is Gaurav Path of more than five kilometers in the city, whose width should be at least 45 meters, but its width is only 30 meters. Which could also be a reason behind the accident. After the announcement of the new TP, the movement of vehicles here has also increased to a great extent.

Will try to prevent accidents: Mayor

In this regard, Mayor Hemali Boghavala said that she visited the spot within Gauravpath Baghban Circle Adajan area today. In which some important things have come to our notice. Especially the high speed of the vehicles. Wherever necessary, speed breakers will be made to slow down the speed of vehicles. After that instructions will also be put on the road. Especially those dumpers (heavy vehicles) who are entering the area before their scheduled time or even after completion of time. To keep a special eye on this, discussions have been held with the DCP of the traffic department.
