On Monday, a speeding pick-up van hit Don Bosco Academy’s auto near the water tank located in Nehru Nagar of Patliputra police station, due to which a student in the auto died on the spot. At the same time, three other students were slightly injured. The three injured students were admitted to a private hospital in Patliputra police station area. Anshu Jain’s 12-year-old son Ariham Jain was a student of class VII and was studying at Don Bosco Academy located on Digha-Ashiyana Road. According to the information, Ariham was a resident of Prakash Kunj apartment located in Nageshwar Colony of Buddha Colony police station area. After the incident, there was mourning in the whole family.
Auto driver had gone to drop two children in Nehru Nagar
Father Anshu Jain told that the auto driver parked the auto on the side near Nehru Nagar and went to take two other children home. Meanwhile, a speeding pickup van hit the auto. After pushing, the pickup driver left the vehicle and ran away with the keys. Hearing the sound of the bang, people gathered on the spot hurriedly took the child out of the auto, in which Ariham died on the spot.
There were six children in the auto
According to eyewitnesses, the pickup belongs to a local chief. Ariham’s head was severely torn by the impact of the pickup. At the time of the incident, there were six children in the auto, out of which the auto driver had gone to drop them home after crossing the road. After getting information about the incident, the police arrived and seized the pickup van. The pickup is in the name of Laxmi Enterprises.

Don Bosco Academy will remain closed today in mourning of the student
The school manager has closed the school on Tuesday in mourning for the student who died in the accident. The school’s vice principal Eric Rogerio told that the entire school family is heartbroken by this incident. All the teachers of the school are inconsolable.
