Jharkhand News: Sahibganj’s former DSO (District Supply Officer) Anil Kumar, accused of missing the file, surrendered in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Shailendra Kumar in Sahibganj Civil Court on Tuesday. Taking him into police custody, the court sent him to judicial custody for 14 days. A case was registered against him in the year 2014 in Jirwabadi OP of Sahibganj.

According to the information, former District Education Officer of Sahebganj, Bhaleriaran Tirkey, filed a case number 361 in Jirwabari police station on the charge of missing the file of appeal case number 1102/2012 Mohd. In 2014, an FIR was lodged against Sushil Kumar Rai, former District Education Officer of Sahebganj and others. In the missing file, a copy of the order related to termination of service of Clerk Dilip Kumar Pandey was attached. In this case, the bail application of accused DSO Anil Kumar was rejected by the Jharkhand High Court. After this he surrendered in Sahebganj Civil Court on Tuesday. Senior advocates Vijay Karna and Lal Babu Yadav appeared on their behalf.

Seven months ago in the year 2022, former DSO Anil Kumar has been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service.

In the year 2014, during the time of former DEO Valerian Tirkey, it was complained again. After this the search for the old file started. That file was not found. After this former DEO Balerian Tirkey filed a complaint against Head Clerk of Education Department Gopal Chandra Singh, Clerk Panchanand Mahato, Rahul Anand Singh, Dilip Kumar Pandey and REO Satish Chandra Sinku. In the course of investigation, it was found that for the first time former DSO Anil Kumar had taken the file in order of research.
