According to the information, a total of 3.23 lakh teachers have to be paid in all types of government elementary schools in the state. Out of these teachers, 66, 104 city, block and panchayat teachers are paid from the state government fund. The salaries of the remaining more than two and a half lakh teachers are paid under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan has recently released salary grant for them.
Funds also released for the salary of physical education and health instructor
Apart from this, the education department has released an amount of 22. 94 crores for the fixed salary payment in the financial year 2023-24 for the instructors appointed on 2, 351 posts out of 8, 386 approved posts of physical education and health instructor for state primary schools. has also been released. Similarly, for the current financial year, an amount of 2.80 crores has also been given for payment of fixed salaries of school assistants and school attendants working under Zilla Parishad and various municipal bodies under secondary education of the state.
