Agra. After the Mathura Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute, the matter of digging the stairs of Jama Masjid of Agra has also reached the court. The court of Agra has accepted the petition of storyteller Devkinandan Thakur. Devkinandan Thakur has been directed to present his case on 31st May. The narrator has sent notices to Jama Masjid Arrangement Committee, Chhoti Masjid, Deewane Khas, Jahanara Masjid, Agra Fort, UP Central Waqf Board Lucknow and Shri Krishna Seva Sansthan to present his case in the court. In the Jama Masjid case, Devkinandan had filed a petition on 11 May. On May 31, after hearing both the sides, the court can pronounce its verdict on the matter.

The case is related to the Thakur Keshav Dev temple of Shri Krishna’s birthplace

Storyteller Devkinandan Thakur claims that ‘the idols of Lord Krishna are buried under the stairs built in Agra’s Jama Masjid. Talking to the media on Monday, Devkinandan Thakur said that earlier the Mughal invaders who came from outside in our country had done the work of harming and humiliating Sanatan Dharma and Hindu culture. In 1670, Aurangzeb demolished the ancient Thakur Keshav Dev temple at the birthplace of Lord Krishna, the deity of Hindu people in Mathura, and built a mosque at that place. And buried the idols of Keshav Dev temple under the steps of Jama Masjid of Agra. Humiliating Sanatan Dharma and Hindus, Muslims climb those stairs to go to the mosque. The holy idols of our adorable God are being trampled under feet even today.

Ongoing hearing in Civil Judge (Preferred Section)

Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Protected Service Trust had filed case number 518/23 in the Court of Civil Judge (Pravar Khand) Agra on 11th May. In which the court has been requested to get back the idols of Lord Keshav Dev buried in the steps of the mosque in Agra. On the other hand, Thakur Devkinandan said that the Muslim society has the last opportunity till May 31 to maintain brotherhood. He showed his big heart and extended his support to dig the stairs in the court. Otherwise, through the law, the Hindu society will take its idol out from under the stairs and take it to Mathura.

Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Sanchit Seva Trust will fight legal battle

Let us tell you that a few days ago, Devkinandan Thakur had appealed to the Muslim community during the Katha in Agra in April to excavate the steps of the mosque and hand over the idols of Lord Keshav Dev to the Hindu society, so that they could worship him in Mathura. Storyteller Devkinandan Thakur told that we had also talked about paying the expenses for digging the stairs. But even after the deadline, no positive response came from the Muslim community. Had to resort. Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Sanchit Seva Trust has been formed for this fight, which will fight the legal battle in the court of Agra.
