BSEB: Everyday many people are being targeted by cyber criminals in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Criminals adopt new methods everyday to make people their victims. It is being told that Priya Kumari, a resident of Musallahpur Haat of Kadamkuan police station, was tricked by cyber miscreants by giving her cyber security tips and then withdrew Rs 1.23 lakh from her account. In this regard, he has filed a cyber crime portal complaint. Cyber cell is probing the matter.
He told that on Sunday a call was received from an unknown number. The cyber security team was written on the Truecaller. When the call was received, the caller started telling ways to avoid cyber vicious people. After talking for five minutes, he said that I will send a link for more information, click on it and if you are happy with the tips given by me, then give a rating. After this, as soon as the girl clicked on the link, a software was downloaded in the mobile and till noon, Rs 1.23 lakh was withdrawn from her account in three times. She immediately informed about this to her husband, after which the husband lodged a complaint on the cybercrime portal.

Cyber police officer told that under any circumstances do not click the unknown link in your phone. Criminals are looting people’s money by downloading software in mobile. There have been many cases related to cyber security in which criminals have looted people’s money by downloading a software named Annie Desk in mobile. In this case, the victims have lodged a complaint on the portal. Further action is being taken. Recovery of money will be our priority.
