Criminals are fiercely using social media to establish their identity in the world of crime. In Jamshedpur, the police are constantly being challenged by the active criminals by posting pictures and posts on social media. In this episode, after Davinder Singh aka ‘I Love Punjab’, some pictures of Puran Chaudhary are going viral.
In one of these pictures, he is seen sitting on the bed with four pistols, a pistol and a huge quantity of cartridges. Apart from this, he is seen with Davinder in two more pictures. Puran Chowdhary is a named accused in the murder of Manpreet Singh, a resident of Sidgora, Jamshedpur. Police believe that Puran entered the house and carried out the crime. Apart from this, Puran Chaudhary is accused of firing on a police officer in West Bengal.
An FIR has been registered against him for firing and looting in Golmuri and looting in MGM police station area. In a single night, Puran Chaudhary’s gang had carried out three separate incidents of robbery in two different police station areas. Davinder Singh alias I Love Punjab, who is seen with Puran in the picture, has cases registered against him including theft in Bishtupur, robbery in Golmuri and other cases. Both the accused are absconding.
After the picture went viral, the police started looking for Puran Chaudhary, Davinder Singh and his gang. Recently two different Facebook posts in the name of Davinder Singh went viral. In this, he was quoted as saying that he takes responsibility for the firing in Kadma Ulyan.
