Jharkhand: Instructions of Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department, all CHOs to connect 10 patients with telemedicine service daily

Ranchi: Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department, Arun Kumar Singh held a review meeting with civil surgeons of all districts, deputy superintendents of sadar hospitals and all regional deputy directors (health services) on Monday. In this, providing the annual administrative report for the financial year 2022-23, the status of the cases related to the retired/deceased doctors till July 2022 and the status of sending their pension forms, pending court cases related to the districts, Lokayukta, Human Rights Commission, bill payment Matters related to CPGRAM and pending matters related to National Health Mission were discussed.

It was told by the Additional Chief Secretary that along with a doctor, an AYUSH doctor has also been deputed in the Atal Mohalla Clinic so that people do not face any problem in treatment. All civil surgeons were instructed to pay personal attention and make sure to update the data related to 15th Finance Commission and PM-ABHIM online on ODCT app by 5th of every month. Along with this, within 1 week, make sure to provide the report along with the certificate of ABHA registration of all the left out doctors, para medical workers and health workers. The EPF amount of the employees employed by the outsourcing company is not being deposited on time. Keeping this in mind, make sure to take the employee’s EPF deposit statement every month from the outsourcing company.

Under the PM-ABHIM scheme, a critical care block is to be constructed in the hospital premises in which the doctors of the hospital will be deputed. All civil surgeons were instructed to increase the consultation of e-Sanjeevani telemedicine. Along with this, it was also directed that all CHOs will connect at least 10 patients with telemedicine service daily. All civil surgeons were instructed to promote institutional delivery and update it regularly in the relevant portal. Civil surgeons were instructed to provide the list of under-construction buildings under the health department at all blocks and panchayat level of their respective districts by May 31.
