The government has said that if your Aadhaar card is more than 10 years old or you have not updated your Aadhaar even once in 10 years, then it is mandatory for you to update it.
how to update
Now updating your Aadhaar card has become very easy. You can do this even sitting at home. For this you have to go to the official website of UIDAI. After opening the site, you have to click on the option of Update Aadhaar.
After this, you have to enter your Aadhaar number, then fill the captcha code and submit it.
After this, the option “Send OTP” has to be clicked.
Then enter the OTP sent to your mobile phone on your registered cellphone number.
After selecting the fields you want to modify, make necessary adjustments
Then after adding the required documents, press “Submit”.
After submitting, you will get an Update Request Number (URN). You will get all the information by calling this number.
