The corporation will charge at least Rs 2500 from the owner for the last rites of domestic animals. However, the municipal corporation will have to bear the cost of the last rites of the abandoned animals. Experts say that after the death of animals, burying them or throwing them in the open increases the outbreak of pollution. Due to this, it harms the human body as well as other living beings.
Old machine could not be tested
A few days back, news came out in the media that old animal cremation machines are being installed. After this, the officer of the corporation had asked to investigate and take action. But, even after the work of the machine was completed, the corporation did not show interest in checking the machine and other items. In the coming days, the hurry of the Municipal Corporation to start the machine is visible. Local people said that the common people will not be able to pay so much money for cremation of animals with LPG or CNG in the machine.

Approval of the process of installation of machines for the last rites of animals has been given after discussions at every level.
