Patna. BPSC has released the syllabus for the recruitment of teachers in government schools of Bihar. As soon as the syllabus was released, the teachers and the candidates started a ruckus. Dipankar Gaurav, state president of the Bihar Elementary Youth Teachers Association, said that a provision for negative marking has been made in the examination conducted by the BPSC for teacher reinstatement, which is wrong. In the syllabus, more focus has been given on General Studies questions in which negative marking will cause problems to the examinees.

In the past, BPSC had also conducted the exam for the posts of Principal, in which there was a provision of negative marking. Only 421 candidates were able to pass in the examination held for 6421 seats. The education department could not find qualified candidates for the posts of six thousand headmasters.
