New features in the mobile app

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) announced the launch of five new features on its mobile application to provide its customers with a seamless and simplified banking experience.

The Bank continues to drive innovation through its partnership with Visa to offer its customers ground-breaking benefits. The “Manage Card Subscriptions” feature is the latest addition to the mobile app, which enables customers to easily view and manage all of their Visa card subscriptions in one place, including Netflix, Talabat, iTunes, Amazon, and more.
Some merchants may also display when storing card data even for a single purchase, based on customer consent, such as airlines and hotels. Instead of checking each subscription separately, users can easily access this feature on the bank’s mobile app, to view all their subscriptions.
In order to facilitate banking for parents and guardians, the bank now allows them to open accounts for their minor children through easy steps through the bank’s mobile application, in addition to the ability to view details and manage this account wherever they are.
Another notable addition is the Request for Payment service, which allows mPay digital wallet customers to request payment from other bank customers via the app.
As for those looking to secure their family’s financial future, the bank has made renewing family insurance policies a quick and immediate process through the application through a customized solution from Daman Islamic Insurance Company (Bima),
