Surat: Efforts to bring new animals in Sarthana Nature Park

There is a holiday in Sarthana Nature Park. A large number of people from outside the city also come to visit. Presently more than 3000 visitors are registering daily during summer vacation. Presently there are a total of 426 animals and birds in the Nature Park. Efforts have been made to bring new animals in the coming days.

Wolves and alligators will be seen in Sarthana Nature Park in the coming days. Both these animals will be brought from Jaipur Zoo. One pair of wolves and 2 pairs of alligators will be brought. In lieu of which 1 pair of water cats from Surat will be given to Jaipur. The Central Zoo Authority has also given its permission. The construction of cages for the wolves has begun.

lake found polluted    <p> </p>  <p><strong>The lake was found polluted during the surprise visit of the mayor</strong></p>  <p>On Friday morning officials including the Mayor made a surprise visit to the Nature Park, where the lake was found heavily polluted and suggested to clean it immediately.  It was urged to invite tenders for the development of ponds and fish farming as a useful alternative to animal feed.  Mayor Hemali Boghavala, Permanent Speaker Paresh Patel and ruling party leader Amit Rajput made a surprise visit and asked to increase the water in the lake.  Also emphasized on the use of solar energy.</p>
