Rajkot: Drugs worth 214 crores brought from Pakistan were caught, to be transported to Delhi

The black trade of drugs has once again been exposed in Gujarat. 30,600 kg of drugs worth Rs 214 crore have been seized from behind the Khanderi Stadium in Rajkot. The quantity of these drugs from Pakistan was to be delivered to Delhi. A Nigerian man named Okoyo came there to take delivery. These drugs were seized in a joint operation by Gujarat ATS, NCB Delhi and Surat City Crime Branch. In which a Nigerian man has been arrested. After being produced in the court, the accused has been granted remand for 12 days.

According to the information received, Gujarat ATS DIG Deepan Bhadran received information from ACP Crime Branch Surat Bhavesh Rozia that Pakistan’s Karachi’s drug mafia Haji Anwar has landed a consignment of heroin through a boat on the coast of Gujarat. A person named Jafar has hidden this batch near a kutcha road near Khanderi on the road from Rajkot to Jamnagar and a person named Bablu is to load it in a car and give it to a Nigerian. After that a team of Gujarat ATS, Surat Crime Branch and NCB Delhi traced a Nigerian named Okoyo from Delhi. 30.66 kg heroin in 31 plastic packets with market value of Rs 214.62 crore was recovered from Rajkot. Which has been seized and further action has been taken.
