New Delhi, May 13 (Hindustan Times). Seeing the Congress party heading towards a clear majority, former party president Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress will fulfill all the promises made to the people. This is the victory of the people of the state.
While talking to the reporters at the Congress headquarters on Saturday afternoon, Rahul Gandhi congratulated all the party workers, leaders and the people of the state. He said that the people of Karnataka have closed the shop of hatred.
He further said that the poor people of Karnataka have defeated the capitalist power. We fought and won the Karnataka elections with love. We will win elections in other states as well. He said that we had made five promises to the people of Karnataka. We will fulfill those promises on the first day and in the first cabinet.
