Corruption case filed against four people including former regional director of NCB Sameer Wankhede in Mumbai

Mumbai, May 12 (Hindustan). The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against former Mumbai NCB regional director Sameer Wankhede and three others in a corruption case related to the Aryan Khan cruise case. The agency has also raided 29 locations in Mumbai, Delhi, Ranchi (Jharkhand) and Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh).

The CBI team is conducting raids on Friday at the Mumbai residence of Sameer Wankhede, former regional director of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai. Till now the official information of this raid has not been shared by the CBI to the media. CBI has registered a corruption case against four persons including Sameer Wankhede and today raids are being conducted at 29 locations across the country including Delhi, Mumbai, Ranchi and Kanpur.

It is noteworthy that Aryan Khan, son of film actor Shah Rukh Khan, was arrested by Sameer Wankhede in the Cardilia Cruz drug case. At that time, Sameer Wankhede was accused of demanding extortion of Rs 25 crore for not registering a case against Aryan Khan. NCB had constituted SIT to investigate this matter. On the basis of the SIT report, the CBI is conducting raids at various places in the country by registering cases against four people including Sameer Wankhede.
