CM Hemant inaugurated Jharkhand’s first cancer hospital, all these facilities will be available

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said that earlier the treatment facilities for cancer patients in Jharkhand were negligible. Many people were suffering from the problem. Used to go to other states for treatment. The government was trying to run a cancer hospital in the state. Cancer hospital has been inaugurated in Ranchi today. The government will move ahead step by step with Tata. The government wants this to be an ideal cancer care center and the research done here should be of national and international level.

The Chief Minister was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Tata Trust’s Ranchi Cancer Hospital and Research Center at Kadma on Sukarhuttu Road, Kanke on Friday. He said that at present it is a 25-acre campus. Will take a more grand form in the future. This is where the government is going to develop Medico City.

This hospital will prove to be a milestone:

The Chief Minister said that a large number of cancer patients used to go to other states or other cities for better treatment from our state. Many times, we have also sent people suffering from cancer through different mediums for better treatment. With the efforts of the State Government and the Tata Trust, the day has come when a grand cancer hospital is standing in Ranchi. Ranchi Cancer Hospital and Research Center will prove to be a milestone for the state.

The Chief Minister said that world-class modern machines have been installed in Ranchi Cancer Hospital and Research Center, so that cancer patients can get quality check-up and medical services. The Chief Minister said that the government has installed many new technology machines in RIMS in the last few months. Now the general public is getting better medical facilities in RIMS as well.

Health Minister Banna Gupta also expressed his views on this occasion. He said: Today is a historic day. Tata Trust and the state government together will provide better treatment to cancer victims. Tata Trust CEO Siddharth Sharma, Tata Steel MD TV Narendran were also present in the programme. An MoU was signed between the state government and Tata on this occasion. The MoU was signed by Director Chief Health Services Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh and Tata’s Sanjeev Kumar Agarwal on behalf of the state government. The patients of the state will also be able to get treatment facility in Tata’s cancer hospital located in Kolkata.

Tata Steel Vice Chairman and Trustee Noel Tata said that Tata started his company here 100 years ago. It is a matter of pride for Tata even today. Now Tata’s cancer hospital is starting here. This will prove to be a milestone for Jharkhand. Cancer patients will get better facilities. Cancer is a serious disease. Many people are losing their lives due to this.

Right now cancer treatment is being done in six states. Efforts are being made to provide equal facilities to all. Along with this, awareness program regarding cancer is also going on. Along with treatment, there will also be facilities for research. Cancer screening is also being done by the company in RIMS.
