Surat: Chamber of Commerce organizes career guidance festival for board students

Under the initiative of South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SGCCI) from 8th May to 16th May, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Samruddhi, Nanpura, Surat to guide the students so that they can make a worthy career after class 12th Career Festival was organized with the objective. What after class 12? Organized Career Guidance Fest on this topic on Thursday as part of which P.P. Savani University Professors Vishal Shah, Naitik Khamar, Sadafara Pillai and Saida Jentiwala informed about the invaluable opportunities for career development of students after class 12. The Chamber’s Educational Institute and University Liaison Committee has played an important role in organizing this festival.

Professors said that students interested in creativity can pursue careers in Architect Design, Fine Arts, Interior Designing, Visual Artist, Urban Designing and Journalism and Mass Communication. Students interested in science can pursue Bachelor of Science and specialize in Masters in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Information Technology, Laboratory Technology, Computer Science and Environmental Science.

P.P. In Savani University, students are also given internship opportunity in B.Com. Students are taught Liberal Arts and Management Studies. Industrial visits to various companies and firms are conducted to enhance the knowledge of the students. Along with learning, practical knowledge is also given to the students. After class 12, students can pursue the four-year B.B.A. (Hons.) program. In which students can make their career in General Management, Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management. After graduation, students can make a career by doing MBA.

The professors explained in detail to the students how to fill the online form. He said, students need to be very careful while filling the online form. The ID Password generated while filling the online form should not be shared with any other person. Students have to fill the information of either Gujarat or NEET in the online form. He further said that if a student wants to take admission in computer science then all the colleges having computer science should be selected.

The welcome speech was given by Manish Kapadia, Group President of the Chamber. Group Chairman Nikhil Madrasi conducted the program and thanked the survey by giving the outline of the program. The professors answered various questions from the students and parents and then the program came to an end.
