Jairam Gamit of Nijhar seat spent Rs 38.65 lakh, Bakaji Thakor of Kalol seat Rs 37.78 lakh and Kirit Singh Dabhi of Dholka seat spent Rs 36.9 lakh to win the election. The report found that the MLAs of Samajwadi Party, Congress and AAP spent less to win elections.
MLAs of other parties spent accordingly
Samajwadi Party’s Kutiana MLA Kandhal Jadeja has spent 6 lakh 87 thousand and Congress’ Ankalwana MLA Amit Chavda has spent 9 lakh 28 thousand. AAP’s Botad MLA Umesh Makwana spent 9 lakh 64 thousand and BJP spent 27 lakh on an average per assembly in the entire election. The Congress has spent an average of Rs 24 lakh per assembly in the entire election.
