Dhanbad News: In Dhanbad district, a pregnant woman suffering from abdominal pain did not get a bed in the gynecology department of SNMMCH on time. Because of this, the innocent died in her womb itself. The woman’s condition worsened. On this, the relatives created a ruckus in the hospital. However, the matter was resolved after an agreement between the management and the family members.

According to information, Rajesh Kol, husband of Meena Devi of Maricho village, located in Madhupur Panchayat of Barwaadda, took his wife to the Gynecology department of SSNMCH on Wednesday at around 11 a.m. due to pre-delivery pain. There the health workers told him that the beds were not empty. His wife was six months pregnant. From Wednesday till late night, he was lying in the hospital waiting for a bed. But there was no arrangement.

This Thursday morning the pain increased a lot. Due to lack of timely arrangements and proper treatment, the child died in the womb itself. After this, the relatives started an uproar. Rajesh Kok told that after the death of the innocent in the womb, he called a senior official of the health department and informed about it. On the initiative of the said officer, the health workers reached the hospital and made an agreement. After this he went home with his wife.

Please inform that all the beds in the Gynecology Department are full since one week. In such a situation, patients have to wait for the beds to become vacant. To avoid the problem, some beds have been installed in the verandah of the Gynecology department. For the last one week the beds placed in the verandah are also full. In such a situation, six-seven months pregnant women are being admitted only on the availability of beds.

The woman had 24 weeks of pregnancy in her stomach. After complaining of pain, the family took him to the hospital.
