With the heat in Ahmedabad, the incidents of fire are also increasing. Three incidents have come to the fore in the city in two to three days. A fire broke out in Vikas Estate near Nutan Mill in Bapunagar on Wednesday. After the fire broke out in the firecracker factory, eight fire tenders reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. In this fire incident, 7 people have got scorched, while 25 shops have come under the grip of fire.
Surrounding areas are being evacuated
The cause of the fire is still being investigated. Due to the incident of fire, there is an atmosphere of fear in the surrounding areas of the factory. On the other hand the fire spread to other factories as well. Modern equipment was also brought from the fire brigade to extinguish the fire. Due to the fire in the firecracker factory, firecrackers were bursting like coriander. The fire continued to grow, so the surrounding areas were evacuated.
A total of seven people were injured in this accident.
The smoke from the fire was seen up to a kilometer away and the fire brigade extinguished the fire. According to the Ahmedabad Fire Brigade, Vikas Estate on Anil Starch Mill Road in Bapunagar area has firecracker shops and godowns. In which fire broke out in a cracker godown named Jai Ambe Traders in the line of shops from shop number 94 to 114. Due to which 25 firecracker shops caught fire simultaneously. Seven people were injured in this accident. In which two people have been referred to Shardaben Hospital for serious injuries. While five people have received minor injuries. The fire has now been brought under control.
Fire broke out on the second floor of Dhananjay Tower
Recently, a fire broke out on the second floor of Dhananjay Tower in Shyamal area. As soon as the fire was reported, the fire brigade team reached the spot and tried to control the fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known. Police also reached the spot. The people trapped in the tower were immediately evacuated safely. No casualties have been reported in this incident.
Around 15 two-wheelers were burnt to ashes
Recently, there was an early morning fire incident in the parking lot of B Block of Amizra Apartments in Paldi area of Ahmedabad. 15 two-wheelers and 3 AC outdoor units were gutted in the fire. Five fire engines immediately reached the spot and doused the fire. However, hearing the sound of fire, people got down. There was no casualty in this incident as well.
