Police recovered six bags containing Rs 3 crore and a rupee counting machine from a Breeza car while conducting a blockade near Angoor Research Center on the Pune-Solapur highway in Hadapsar area of ​​Pune district. In this case, the police has taken into custody Prashant Dhanpal Gandhi (47 years), who was traveling in the car. On the information of Hadapsar Police Station, the team of Income Tax Department reached the spot on Tuesday morning and is investigating.

According to the police, late on Monday night, the police team was searching the vehicles by blockade near the Angoor Research Center on the Pune-Solapur highway in Hadapsar. Meanwhile, the police searched a Breeza car and found six bags containing a total of Rs 3 crore 42 lakh 66 thousand 220 from the car. The police team seized the bag and took Prashant Dhanpal Gandhi, who was traveling in the car, into custody.

From where did Prashant Dhanpal Gandhi bring such a huge amount and where was he taking it, the Income Tax Department team is probing it. It is feared that this amount was being sent through hawala for Karnataka elections, at present the investigation is going on.
