PM to visit Gujarat on May 12, will lay foundation stone of 3 flyovers in Ahmedabad and participate in other programs

Ahmedabad, 6 May (Hindustan Times). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on 12th May. The Prime Minister has three programs organized in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Surat. He will inaugurate the National Teachers Convention in Gandhinagar. Apart from this, Bhumi Pujan will be done for development works worth Rs 1500 crore in Ahmedabad. In view of the program of the Prime Minister, preparations are being made vigorously by the administration.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform Bhumi Pujan of flyover bridge at Vadaj, Naroda and Sattadhar Junction in Ahmedabad on May 12. Will inaugurate the 30 MLD STP plant near Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Ahmedabad, completed with an expenditure of Rs 78.88 crore. Bhoomipujan of new water distribution center to be built in Gota ward at Rs 28.64 crore, EWS houses to be built by spending Rs 28.17 crore in Amraiwadi ward, pipeline from Express Highway to Odakmode to be built by spending Rs 184.47 crore Bhoomipujan of rehabilitation scheme houses in Ambawadi area to be built with an expenditure of Rs 63.58 crore, Bhoomipujan of Wadj Junction Fourlane Flyover Bridge to be built with an expenditure of Rs 267.67 crore, Sattadhar Junction Flyover Bridge to be constructed with an expenditure of Rs 103.63 crore, PM Modi will do Bhumi Pujan and inaugurate the resurface works of TP Road costing Rs 641.02 crore.

To solve the traffic problem in Ahmedabad city, flyover bridge will be constructed at Naroda, Wadaj and Sattadhar at a cost of 500 crores. The length of the flyover bridge being constructed near Galaxy Cinema will be 2 km. A network will be prepared with an expenditure of Rs 184 crore to deliver Narmada water to the citizens in the eastern region of Ahmedabad. Water will be supplied from Raska treatment plant. Pucca houses will be prepared in Amraiwadi Mahenatpura Chhapra. Around 658 families residing at this site will get pucca houses.
