Vadodara: Jewelery worth 4.40 lakhs stolen by breaking open the lock of the house in broad daylight

The husband of Nirali Urvesh Patel, a resident of Nava Faliya of Sejakuwa village of Padra taluka, lives in Dubai. Presently she lives at home with her mother-in-law, father-in-law Nanand and ten-year-old son Devansh. On Sunday morning, her mother-in-law had gone to a funeral in Anand. When at 12:00 noon Nirali went to Jagdishbhai’s house living in the neighborhood with her father-in-law and sister-in-law. In the meantime, he came to know that the lock of the net of the house was broken and went home and saw that the safe was also open. On investigation, gold jewelery worth Rs 4.40 lakh and school bag of sister-in-law Loka were also stolen from the drawer of the safe.

After the incident of theft in broad daylight, Nirali informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started further action after recording the statements of the family members.
