New Delhi, May 01 (Hindustan Times). Automaker Morris Garages (MG) Motor India’s retail sales more than doubled on a year-on-year basis to 4,551 units in April. The company had registered retail sales of 2,008 units in April, 2022.
MG Motor India said in a statement on Monday that its retail sales in April doubled on a year-on-year basis to 4,551 units. The company had registered retail sales of 2,008 units during the same period last year. The company pointed out that supply chain constraints persist in some models. However, the company is working towards meeting the demands of the customers.
According to the company, it is preparing to launch its small electric car Comet EV in the market this month. The booking of this car will start from May 15. Notably, MG Motor India operates a manufacturing plant in the country, which is located in Halol, Gujarat.
