Sahibganj (Jharkhand), 30 April (Hindustan Times). Four children of the same family died due to lightning strike in Rajmahal near Babutola turn of western Udhwa under Radhanagar police station area of ​​Rajmahal district while the condition of one child is critical.

According to the information, it started raining in the afternoon on Sunday. The storm also started blowing. The children of the surrounding area had reached the garden to pick mangoes. That’s why everyone stood under a mango tree to avoid the heavy rain. Meanwhile, with a roar, Thanka fell near that mango tree. Four children died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Ayesha Khatoon (14), Nazrul Sheikh (10), Tauqeer Sheikh (12) and Zahid Sheikh (10) of Babutola.

It is said that both Ayesha Khatoon and Nazrul Sheikh are the children of Humayun Sheikh. Tauqeer’s father’s name is Mehboob Sheikh and Zahid’s father’s name is Ashraful Sheikh. Nastra Khatoon, a daughter of Humayun Sheikh, has been seriously injured. He is undergoing treatment at the subdivision hospital. The people around reached the house of the victim’s family and consoled them.

As soon as the incident was reported, the police of Radha Nagar reached the spot and started investigating the matter. According to eyewitnesses, the Radha Nagar police took the injured to Sub-Divisional Hospital Rajmahal. Station in-charge Rakesh Kumar, who was present on the spot, told that four children have died due to lightning. One is injured.
