Teacher Eligibility Test-2 (TET-2) has been conducted today all over Gujarat. 57507 candidates were registered at 193 centers in Surat. The exam has been completed peacefully. After the paper was over at 5 pm, the candidates were seen coming out of the examination center smiling. Examiners said that overall the paper was easy.
Examination was held at 193 school centers of Surat
The examination for the eligibility of teachers has been conducted today by the Gujarat Examination Board in the state. TET-2 exam has been conducted for more than two lakh teacher aspiring candidates all over Gujarat. In Surat also it was conducted at 193 school centres. In which candidates from far and wide of South Gujarat including Surat had come to take the exam.
Special security arrangements at the examination center
The seating arrangement for TET 2 exam in Surat was done by Tantra in 1924 block. In which 57,507 candidates had registered for the exam. The exam was conducted at 3 pm. At 2.15 pm, the examinees were admitted inside the center. Special security arrangements have been made by the administration at all the examination centres. Due to the way irregularities were coming to the fore and paper leak incidents were happening in the past, the administration paid special attention to security this time.
Strict police guard at all centers
Strict police arrangements were made to avoid any disturbance at all the examination centers in Surat. CCTV cameras were installed in all examination center rooms and special monitoring was done with CCTV cameras. Also, examinees are strictly checked so that they do not carry any material other than the hall ticket with them. It was also checked that the candidates could not carry any kind of electrical equipment with them and the bags and literature brought with them were kept outside.

There are more than two lakh candidates in the state.
