yes bank profit down 45 percent in fourth quarter to rs 202 crore

New Delhi, 22 April (Hindustan). Private sector Yes Bank has announced the results of the fourth quarter of the financial year 2022-23. Yes Bank’s profit fell 45 per cent to Rs 202.43 crore in the January-March quarter. In the same period of the previous financial year, the bank had earned a profit of Rs 367.46 crore.

The bank told the stock market on Saturday that its net profit declined by 32.7 per cent to Rs 717 crore during the financial year 2022-23. The bank said that due to increase in provisioning for loans, its profits were affected during the January-March quarter and the entire financial year.

The bank’s net interest income grew by 15.4 per cent to Rs 2,105 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 2022-23. Thus, the non-interest income of the bank increased by 22.8 per cent to Rs 1,082 crore. The bank said that this is the second consecutive year when it has been able to register profit.
