Industrial visit to Gujarat Eco Textile Park, Palsana through SGCCI Business Connect Committee of Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Chamber of Commerce Group Chairman Deepak Sethwala, SBC Committee Chairman Advocate Paresh Parekh, Advisor Tapan Jariwala and Co-Chairmen Chirag Desai and Yogesh Darjee, besides around 35 members of the committee participated in the industrial tour.
The SBC members learned about the Gujarat Eco Textile Park (GETP). Dhruv Luthra gave detailed information about this park. He informed about the benefits of this park to the industries and the facilities available to the industries. This was followed by a professional presentation by the SBC members.
Members inspecting CETP during industrial tour <p> </p> <p>The facilities for industries in Gujarat Eco Textile Park include Common Effluent Treatment Plant, General Solid Waste Management and Disposal System, Center of Excellence, Storm Drains and separate pipe network for Effluent and Green Belt and Landscaping. </p> <p>The Textile Park provides excellent infrastructure and facilities to the industry, thereby improving the competitiveness of the industries by achieving rapid growth in each and every business activity. With all the facilities available to the industries at one place, they can reduce their production cost, increase the quality and also protect the environment.</p> <p>The SBC members also visited various companies in the park like Sujitex and Ultra Denim and inquired about the ongoing production in these companies. Thereafter, the SBC members visited the Common Effluent Treatment Plant located in the park. Gained extensive knowledge about treated water for industries in the plant and how it is reused in industries.</p>
