As part of its efforts to enhance the tourism experience for visitors and establish Qatar as a hospitable destination, Qatar Tourism announced yesterday its plan to welcome visitors arriving through Hamad International Airport and the Abu Samra land port during Eid Al-Fitr with a distinguished package of “Eidiya” gifts.
The package includes a set of items for children’s activities, a map that allows visitors to easily identify all the tourist attractions in Qatar and what they can do or see during their stay in Qatar, a free Ooredoo SIM card to keep them connected in Qatar, and a guide that includes coupons for special and exclusive promotions offered by Famous brands and tourist attractions in Qatar.
On this occasion, Mr. Hamad Al-Khaja, Head of Technical Support for Tourism Events and Festivals at Qatar Tourism, said: “Qatar Tourism is always keen to welcome all visitors to Qatar with hospitality, give them a unique welcoming experience, and promote the State of Qatar as a global tourist destination. We consider the Eid gifts to visitors as a gesture by Qatar Tourism and its partners to express their thanks to visitors for choosing Qatar as their holiday destination during Eid Al Fitr. It is a simple gesture of our gratitude and we hope it will contribute to making their tourism experience in Qatar during Eid a wonderful one.”
For her part, Moza Khalid Al-Muhannadi, Director of the Social Responsibility, Sponsorship and Strategic Media Department at “I want” said: “We are very pleased to cooperate with Qatar Tourism and welcome visitors during Eid Al-Fitr for the year 2023.
