Out of a total of 40 candidates, 5 judges and 3 non-judges passed the assessment, representing a pass rate of 18% for judges and 25% for non-judges. to the public hearings conducted by the Pre-Vetting Commission 30 candidates participated as 2 candidates applied for assessment without attending public interview test.

Of the 32 decisions of non-promotion of the evaluation, 18 judge candidates and 4 non-judge candidates appealed the decisions to the Supreme Court of Justice. For now, two of the appeals have been resolved, with the decisions of the Pre-Vetting Commission upheld.

More than 70% of the candidates agreed with the publication of the decisions of the Extraordinary Evaluation Commission. Most of the decisions were adopted unanimously by the six members of the Commission, with the exception of 4 decisions regarding judicial candidates, in which there was a separate opinion.

The evaluation of candidates for the position of member of the self-administration bodies of judges (CSM) and prosecutors (SCP) involves the verification of their financial and ethical integrity, carried out on the basis of Law no. 26/2022. The task of the Pre-Vetting Commission is to check whether the candidates have properly declared their wealth and whether it corresponds to their income, whether they have behaved ethically during the exercise of the position or whether they have adopted arbitrary acts, including whether they have admitted conflicts of interest. The Commission is now conducting the evaluation of candidates for the position of member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP).
