Due to the rapid increase in the corona infection rate in Delhi, the Delhi government has swung into action. The government has advised people to wear masks today. The Health Minister of Delhi on Thursday held an emergency meeting with the concerned officials regarding the situation in Corona today and said that there is no need to panic now.
300 people corona infected in 24 hours in Delhi
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold a review meeting with the officials concerned on Friday. In the last 24 hours on Wednesday, 300 corona infected were found in Delhi and the infection rate increased to close to 14 percent.
Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said after a meeting with officials that corona cases are increasing rapidly in 6 states. Maharashtra is also included in these states. So far it has been seen that two-three weeks after the increase in corona cases in Maharashtra, the corona cases start increasing in Delhi.
Corona infection rate in Delhi is more than 10 percent
The infection rate in Delhi is definitely more than 10 percent. But there is no need to panic because the infection rate is showing so high because the testing of corona is very less. Corona cases have reached 300 now. Genome sequencing has also not revealed anything to worry about.
The Health Minister said that due to the increase in corona cases, people are being advised to wear masks. Especially those going to the hospital and those with influenza flu symptoms must wear a mask. The government is fully prepared to deal with Corona. Sufficient quantity of oxygen, ICU beds and ventilators are available.
Chief Minister Kejriwal will hold a review meeting on Friday
Health Minister Bhardwaj said that today we have held a meeting with the team handling the corona cases. On Friday, Chief Minister Kejriwal will hold a review meeting with the Health Secretary and other concerned officials. In which the Chief Minister will be told what are the preparations in other states to deal with Corona so far. How are the corona cases increasing there and what is its effect on the people. After this meeting, the Chief Minister will issue instructions regarding Corona.
