1805 new cases of corona virus infection have been found in India, after which the number of patients under treatment in the country has crossed 10 thousand after 134 days. According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Monday, the daily infection rate is 3.19 percent while the weekly infection rate is 1.39 percent.
According to the ministry, the number of patients under treatment in the country has increased to 10,300. The death toll has increased to 5,30,837 due to the death of six people due to infection in the last 24 hours.
Chandigarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh have reported one death each, while two deaths have been reported in Kerala. According to the data, the number of infected has reached 4.47 crore (4,47,05,952).
The Ministry said that the number of patients under treatment is 0.02 percent of the total cases while the national rate of recovery from infection is 98.79 percent. So far 4,41,64,815 people have been cured of the infection while the death rate is 1.19 percent.
According to the ministry’s website, 220.65 crore doses of anti-Kovid-19 vaccine have been given so far in the country under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
