Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Friday re-appointed influential Indian-American businessman Digvijay ‘Danny’ Gaikwad to the board of trustees of a prestigious Florida university.
“Governor Ron DeSantis announced the reappointment of Digvijay “Danny” Gaikwad to the University of Central Florida Board of Trustees,” the governor’s office said in a statement.
Gaikwad, a resident of Ocala, is the founder and CEO of NDS USA. Apart from this, he is the founder of Danny G Management, founder of Danny Development and Investment and owner of DG Hospitality.
Gaikwad was born in Vadodara. His father was a judge and grandfather a colonel in the Indian Army. He graduated in Political Science from Sayajirao Gaekwad University, Vadodara. He came to America in 1987 with his wife Manisha.
