10 killed in fire in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province

At least 10 people of a family were killed and three others injured when the roof of a house collapsed after a fire broke out in the mountainous district of northwest Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Friday. Rescue personnel gave this information.

Officials in Seri Pattan area of ​​Kohistan district said the fire broke out in a house due to a short circuit.

Rescue officials from Kohistan and Shangla districts said all the casualties belonged to the same family. The injured have been admitted to hospital. The dead bodies have also been sent to the hospital.

Most of the houses in the mountainous districts of the province are made of wood. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali and Caretaker Chief Minister Mohammad Azam Khan have expressed grief over the incident.
