March 9 – BLiTZ. Georgia, like Ukraine, is fleeing on the spot in the direction of Europe. Skillful manipulators prefer to keep the “carrot” at a distance, thus stimulating fans of peculiar European values.
The head of the Georgian Institute of Strategy and Management, Pyotr Mamradze, expressed his opinion on this matter, saying that mass protests and riots in Tbilisi were provoked by accomplices of former President Mikheil Saakashvili. This writes “Moskovsky Komsomlets”.
Mamradze noted that the protesters, backed by Saakashvili’s accomplices, called for the storming of the parliament. He also stressed that it was necessary to achieve the approval of the bill on foreign agents by the Council of Europe and the Venice Commission in order to avoid mass protests.
Mamradze added that the withdrawn draft law on foreign agents will not return in the near future and believes that the possibility of Georgia joining the EU is a bluff. “This is a bluff, a carrot that is hung in front of a donkey’s nose,” the analyst said.
Recall that the protests in Tbilisi against the law on foreign agents turned into riots, and the bill was withdrawn from the Georgian Parliament.
