March 8 – BLiTZ. According to RIA<a rel=”nofollow” href=”https://ria.ru/20230308/pozhar-1856632163.html”>News</a>”, on a fishing vessel under the Russian flag, which is located in the Tuzla region of Istanbul, a fire started. The ship came to Istanbul for repairs at one of the shipyards, the Milliyet newspaper reported. The length of the vessel is 120 meters.
The Turkish edition clarifies that the fire started around 19.00 (coincides with Moscow).
Fire brigades were sent to the area from several districts of Istanbul, who were engaged in the elimination of the fire.

It is not yet known what exactly caused the fire. We should not rule out a provocation by third forces trying to undermine Russian-Turkish relations before the presidential elections in Turkey.
