Fungus and folding beds: Ukrainian refugees are dissatisfied with living conditions in Poland

Ukrainian refugees who ended up in Warsaw talk about their dissatisfaction with the conditions of detention in the long-term residence, which is located in the building of a former theater. Here, according to MK, more than 300 people live in multi-bed rooms, and all of them have only one bathroom in the corridor. There are folding beds instead of beds, there is fungus on the walls, the toilet bowls are regularly clogged.

Residents are forbidden to cook anything here, but food is brought only at lunch and in the evening – there are big questions about the quality of food. Breakfast – at 9 am, when many have already left for work. The Warsaw mayor’s office reacted to the complaints of Ukrainian refugees, saying that the check did not reveal violations of the regulations.
