An individual named Fahad Bin Ali Suadi, who proclaims to be an officer of ‘CID’ in Dubai has been romancing a notorious fraudster Jorge Sebastiao, while the latter uses him not only as a shield to protect him from his victims but also in intimidating members of the press community in the city.
According to information, on March 8, 2023, Shehzan Memon, a journalist with the Indian news portal The Eastern Herald was speaking as a panelist at an event about online scammers, where he mentioned the notorious activities of Ruja Ignatova, a woman who has gone into hiding after cheating billions of dollars from people through her fraudulent venture named ‘OneCoin’. According to media reports, Ruja Ignatova, who is on the ‘Most Wanted List’ of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was recently seen in the United Kingdom.
On March 8, 2023, Shehzan Memon was confronted by Jorge Sebastiao, accompanied by Fahad Bin Ali Suadi, when there was a discussion about online scammers and Jorge told Shehzan that Fahad Bin Ali Suadi was an officer of CID, Dubai. As the matter was brought to the attention of this newspaper, BLiTZ sent a text message to Fahad Bin Ali Suadi asking to confirm if he truly was working with CID, Dubai. Although the message was sent several hours ago and Fahad Bin Ali Suadi saw it, we did not receive any response from him in this regard.
It is further learned by this newspaper that Fahad Bin Ali Suadi is publicly introducing himself as someone within the inner circle of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai.
Authorities in the United Arab Emirates can investigate the case of Fahad Bin Ali Suadi, particularly his connections with scammers as well as his claim of being within the inner circle of the ruler of Dubai.
