March 9 – BLiTZ. The administration of one of the parks in Toronto, Canada, placed an information sign in a place intended for walking dogs, requiring dog owners not to allow their pets to bark and disturb local residents, reports <a rel=”nofollow noopener” href=”https://toronto.citynews.ca/2023/03/08/toronto-no-barking-sign-st-andrews-playground-dog-park/” target=”_blank”>citynews</a>.

Although many who saw this sign considered it just a joke, local dog owners still turned to the park administration for clarification, and they were explained there that dog barking is indeed prohibited, but not all, but only “excessive”.

This informational sign has now been removed from the park by a Toronto official, who admitted that the park’s actions were excessive and that it is impossible to ban dogs from being dogs.
