March 7 – BLiTZ. The German Bundeswehr is unable to fulfill its obligations to the NATO Mobile Intervention Force (VJTF). This is reported by the German TV channel ZDF.

Thus, the 393rd tank battalion, which is part of the VJTF, is experiencing serious difficulties in equipping with Leopard 2A7 tanks. In the event of an emergency, the unit must have at least 30 vehicles, but after deliveries of Leopard to Ukraine, this condition cannot be met.

For German Defense Minister Pistorius, who has always stressed that Germany is the most reliable and predictable partner in NATO, this news came as a complete surprise, the report says.
